Former Senior Engineer, Shanghai Chemical Engineering Design Institute
With extensive experience in chemical process and equipment design at leading design institutes, Mr. Gu has deep expertise in the design and application of chemical pumps—particularly pumps used for evaporation systems.
He has served as a lecturer for the national Chlor-Alkali Evaporation Training Program for over ten years and has been an instructor for nine consecutive sessions of the Evaporation Technology Training Program.
He specializes in solving complex operational issues in evaporation units, especially the currently popular heat pump–driven low-temperature evaporation technologies.
Training Topics:
1.How to improve evaporation efficiency and reduce heat transfer area in evaporator design
2.Solutions for handling wastewater containing volatile gases
3.Evaporation design for wastewater containing free ammonia
4.Anti-fouling design for evaporators
5.Prevention of cavitation in pumps used in evaporation systems
6.Functions and design calculations of evaporator components
7.Design methods for low-temperature evaporation (below boiling point, atmospheric pressure)
